Alex Eydt

Alex is an Irish actor with credits across both film and stage.

In 2022, he starred in the award-winning A Short Horror Film, to later collaborate again with director Sau Dachi in his debut feature Suit Hung Tied Tongue playing the role of Freddie Halip. On top of his actor credit, he also received music, and camera credits for his contributions to the film’s soundtrack and visceral found-footage filming style. The film went on to win Best Feature at the Dublin Underground Film Festival.

On stage, he has performed in 12 Angry Men with Bolt Productions, playing in Cork Opera House before going on to lead Invitations by award-winning playwright Eoghan Rua Finn in Wexford Opera House in 2025.

Training includes Stanislavski at The Lir, Chekhov at ActorsVision Cork, and Linklater Voice Technique with Saoirse Garet, and has been working privately with acting coach Tom Kibbe (Meisner Technique) since 2024.
