Annette Flynn
Annette, an actress of stage and screen, hails from Ballina, Co. Mayo and lives between London and Ireland. Her most recent screen credits include The Crown Season 6 as Lady Jane Fellowes, sister to Princess Diana. Other screen includes Irish/Finnish feature My Sailor My Love, Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, and Lost and Found, although she is probably best known for playing series regular Maeve McElhinney for a number of years on Fair City.
Theatre includes Gravity (A Love Story) by Neil Flynn, directed by Conall Morrison, The Sweet Science at Edinburgh Fringe, Orphans by Dennis Kelly, A Murder of Crows (Irish tour), The Winter's Tale, A Comedy of Errors, Tonight Everything’s Going to Change and the Abbey Theatre's 24 hour plays. Her performance as Eva Gore-Booth in the one-woman show I Run, I Sing, I Swim, I Dive saw her winning the Best Actress Award at the IDGTF Theatre Festival.
Annette’s voice work includes audiobook narration of award-winning author Liz Nugent’s acclaimed third novel Skin Deep, and her role as main cast member Veronica in the podcast sitcom The Bureau of Lost Things.
In 2020 Annette was named as one of Mayo's 18 most inspirational and trailblazing women at home and abroad by RSVP - placing her alongside the likes of Sally Rooney and Mary Robinson.
