Brian McCarthy

Brian has just wrapped filming two episodes in series one of the TG4 show AM ABÚ which will air in late 2025. He has also wrapped filming CULCHIE directed by Richard Lennon premiering in 2025.

Brian recently appeared in Dale Leadon Bolger's WEIGHT premiering at the 2024 Galway Film Fleadh. Other credits include the feature film A PASSING PLACE as Tom Redmond premiering at the 2023 Galway Film Fleadh, Fionn in the award winning short film WE WERE THERE and Micheál in his writing/directorial debut; THE BURNING AT BALLYMANNY which was nominated for Best National Short at the Richard Harris International Film Festival and Best In Cork at the Fasnet Film Festival.

Brian’s stage credits include Lianne O' Shea's adaptation of Hamlet entitled PLAY and Darn Skippy Productions ENEMY OF THE REPUBLIC by Gerard O'Shea.

Brian is currently appearing in the Guinness nationwide commercial campaign; LOVELY DAY FOR A GUINNESS created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO in London.
