Jessica Barrett
Jessica Barrett is an actor, writer and theatre-maker from Galway.
She graduated from the Lir Academy’s Foundation Year Diploma in 2020 and then graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting in 2022.
Her stage credits whilst training in the Gaiety and The Lir include, ‘Nurse’ in Romeo and Juliet, ‘Ruth’ in Tribes and ‘Ruth/Niamh’ in Moment.
Her professional credits include; Sky 1’s ‘Moone Boy’ written by Chris O’Dowd and directed by Ian Fitzgibbon. ‘Der Irland Krimi’ directed by Züli Aladag.
Jessica is also a writer and has completed two courses hosted by playwrights Kelly Scatter and Eva O’Connor. She has started organizing work-in-progress showcases and scratch nights, providing artists with the opportunity to present their new work in support of charitable causes.
