Justine Stafford
Irish Actor and Comedian Justine Stafford is one of Ireland’s brightest young emerging comedy talents. Performing stand-up just over 3 years, the Nobber native has performed in venues across Ireland as well as in 2019 being a semi-finalist in the UK Funny Women Competition and a finalist on RTE’s Stand Up and Be Funny Competition.
Justine is also known for her online comedy content creation with over 100k followers across her Twitter and Instagram accounts where she regularly posts comedy shorts. She is also a contributor to one of Ireland’s largest YouTube Channel’s TRY which have over 1 million subscribers and viewers around the world.
Most recently, Justine has announced her debut book titled The Irish Art of It’ll Be Grand which is being published with Hachettes.
In Ireland, to say I'm grand can range from meaning I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown to I think this is the happiest I've ever been in my life. It is our catch-all term so as not to burden the other person too negatively or positively. (Because we are very sound like that.) It rings out throughout the nation from morning to night; in the church yards, pubs, schoolrooms and streets, easing the worries of all who hear those magical words: Ah look, it'll be grand. And aren't they dead right? Don't things always seem to work out in the end?
