Lola-Mae McCormack


Lola-Mae is a young actor from Galway. Trained in acting for screen, stage and street performance, Lola-Mae's credits include playing Mags Murphy in the critically acclaimed That They May Face The Rising Sun (2024) and Saoirse in Over the Moon, which premiered at DIFF in 2024 and Newport Film Festival in 2025. She has also worked with Warner Bros on the music video for Reverie, by Irish band Amble (2025) and featured in a commercial for Cash and Carry Kitchens

Lola-Mae trains weekly with Galway Youth Theatre and Macnas Youth Performers, performing on the streets of Galway and in Galway International Arts Festival.

Lola-Mae is fluent in Irish and studies French. She is a classically trained piano player (grade 7) and a talented writer whose short stories and poems have been published by Scholastic (UK), Puffin, RTE and Paper Lanterns journal.

Lola-Mae balances her creative life with rowing most mornings at sunrise on the river Corrib with her crew.
