Scarlet Newton


Scarlet is a versatile screen and stage actor with strong experience across feature film, television and theatre. Recent screen credits include independent feature films The Places We Leave Behind and Little Boxes, alongside short film Interview and music video Conscious Pilot. Her television work includes Time 2 (BBC Studios) and Hollyoaks (Lime Pictures).

She trained extensively with Actor Tribe under Lee Boardman, has undertaken acting for screen workshops with director Steve Shill, and continues her training with Anthony Crank. She completed acting for screen training with National Youth Theatre and brings a grounded, emotionally truthful approach to her work.

On stage, she has played Jean Tatlock in Oppenheimer, Adelaide in Guys & Dolls, and Megan Hipwell in The Girl on the Train, demonstrating a confident command of both contemporary drama and classic text.

Skilled in RP and American accents, with additional dialects including German, Liverpool and Russian, she also speaks Italian and Spanish. Her background in ballet, contemporary dance and physical theatre informs a strong physical awareness on screen and stage.
